When Jaime Pressly had her first baby last year, she dealt with the
same issues any new mother faces, including the fear of never being
sexy again. But Pressly credits her fiancé, deejay Eric Cubiche, for
helping to keep their relationship exciting. Their secret? Go heavy on
the praise. “After all she’s been through, the least you can do is act
like she’s the hottest thing you’ve ever seen,” says the actress, who
earned an Emmy in 2007 for her role on
My Name Is Earl.
“Most women want to get back into shape, but they don’t want you to
tell them to go to the gym. Suggest going on walks together, or buy her
a new pair of tennis shoes.” She’ll get the hint, says Pressly, and
when she does, being encouraging goes a long way. “Pay attention to how
hard she’s working, and say things like, ‘You look amazing. You’re
almost there.’ She’ll go back to what she was, but it takes time and it
takes support. Believe me, she wants it as much as you do.” For a
