It's stories like these that make you realize how truth is sometimes stranger than fiction. It all started when one guy found one of his ex-girlfriend's old pregnancy tests in his medicine cabinet. Not sure what went through his mind at that time, but he decided to take one of the tests as a joke.

Much to his surprise, the test came back positive. Instead of being freaked, he told his friend about the ordeal and it was later turned into a rage comic and posted it on Reddit.



Little did the artist realize that decision to poke fun at his friend would actually help save his life. The thing about pregnancy tests is that they detect beta human chorionic gonadotropin, which is not only a sign of a potential pregnancy but also testicular cancer (in some cases).

Thankfully, several Reddit users knew about this and explained that he needed to see a doctor. It was only after they arranged to see an oncologist that they found a tiny tumor located in the guy's right ball. The Reddit user later announced the news by posting up another rage comic. Kind of makes you want to head to local pharmacy now, doesn't it?
