Ben Folds Five, No Doubt, and Green Day. If none of these resonate with you youngins, then chances are you were too young to listen to real music back in the 90s. But thanks to the internet, these bands are making a comeback in a pretty big way.
We'll start off with Green Day, one of the more recognizable bands of today that have withstood the test of time.
The band has just announced that they'll be releasing three new albums
aptly titled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tres! in September 25,
November 13 and January 15. Shown above is the
official video for “Oh Love”, the fist single from ¡Uno!.
Not to be outdone, newly-reunited band No Doubt has also followed suit with the release of the above music video for “Settle Down”, the first single from the band's forthcoming album Push
and Shove, which will be released
on September 25.
And finally we have alternative rock trio Ben Ben Folds Five, best known for their watershed album Whatever and
Ever Amen.
The band is reuniting 13 years after
their last album was released to promote 'The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind' on
September 18th. The album will also be available on crowd-funding site PledgeMusic, with a portion of sales going to support music education and therapy therapy. And to mark the release of the album, they will kick off a North American tour in New York on September 14.
