The shots from NASA are that of solar flare that started on Thursday, July 12. But fear not of this solar dustup; its been rated X1.4 which means its barely within the “extreme” range. So it’s not expected to cause any damage to electronic equipment, either in orbit or here on terra firma. Check out more dramatic photos of the flare below:
