Cleaning your house never seemed so expensive, until the invention of this 4K carat gold vacuum cleaner. The price of gold is currently at a record high. ($1500-$1700 this year, depending on the day). And it's still soaring as well with no signs of slowing down.

So how much would it take to manufacture a set of 100 24 carat gold plated vacuum cleaners? Each, comes with a price tag of $1 million.

Justin Haver, VP of sales and marketing for Go Vacuum, conceived of the idea for a gold plated vacuum while shuffling to his bathroom half asleep blinded by a golden light. And that's when the idea came. It took six months, and he's built 100 of them.

"[T]he status and exclusivity of owning a vacuum like this can't be measured in dollar and cents," he told the Daily Mail.

The vacuum is equipped with a 10 amp motor, and a 14 wide cleaning nozzle and anti marring urethane wheels. [Inhabitat]
