Automaker Honda has come up with a new personal mobility device dubbed the U3-X which is a compact experimental device that fits comfortably between the rider's legs, to provide free movement in all directions just like normal walking. The wheel is actually made up of several small wheels in a series. It weighs under 22 pounds, uses an electric moto, with a seat and foot rests that fold into the device for ride and carry.
No word on when it is available, but Honda is planning to show it off next month during the Tokyo Motor Show 2009.
