There will be a time in a man's life where he'll need to pull off a suit. Like your graduation day, first job interview, your sister's wedding and (hold your breath) your own wedding day. In fact, most of us would probably end up in a coffin wearing a suit.
The important thing is what your suit says to the world about you. Do they channel an air of success, sophistication, and integrity, or do they signal sloppiness, immaturity, and anxiety? Yes fellas, suits do play a crucial part in our life, more than you ever thought it would.
And now, the Menknowpause Style team will show you how to dress for success right here.
1. Heads Up: The Collar

Starting from the top, you must make sure that your suit collars fit, and is placed decently round your shoulders and chest. The point is to let at least a quarter-inch of your dress shirt show when standing, and to prevent it from engulfing you when you sit down.
2. The Shoulders

Shoulder pads should have your shoulders gently sloping down in a natural way. You're not competing for a Mr. Universe title so if you're born with broad and thick shoulders, you will need less padding than men with narrow shoulders.
3. The Fit

The armholes on the jacket should be high enough for you to raise your arms above your head without having the jacket ride up into your face, but low enough to proportionately define your upper-arms when you raise your hand.
4. The Sleeves

A half-inch of your dress shirt should not be covered by the sleeves of the jacket.
5. The Buttons

Unless you're wearing a single-button suit, the last button of your suit should never be fastened - even when you stand up. By leaving it unbuttoned, you create more space for your legs to move around.
6. The Pants

This is where most men go wrong: Pants should sit at your waist (not your hips), and should fit nicely at the crotch without leaving too much extra room. Also important: the bottom of the pant's legs should rest gently at the top of your dress shoes with a small break. We know, that already sounds torturing for you. But baggy pants aren't right for suits - no matter what material it is made with.
Remember: bulges are intolerable when wearing suits, so you best behave yourself!
